Monte has deep roots in agriculture as a fifth-generation farmer in Northwest Illinois and a growing passion for soil health and regenerative ag. He uses his hands-on farm experience to help lead and teach others through the network of retail partners and growers ASN services. Monte and the ASN team provide advanced biologically based plant nutrition and guide customers to take a full systems approach on their operation to optimize success. More About Monte
Dawn Bull

Dawn grew up on a small family farm in Illinois. She graduated from Augustana College with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and is responsible for all things operational for ASN. She spent eight years in civilian service working for the federal government at the Rock Island Arsenal in budget and resource management before taking the lead with the family business.

Zac lives in Bennington, Nebraska just outside of Omaha. His sales background began back in 2002. In 2012 he started in the agriculture industry focusing on nutrient management and specializes in management of large geographical areas. Zac plans to further Ag Solutions Network’s mission of helping farmers by sharing the results and benefits we’ve all experienced when combining proper plant nutrition with soil health practices. Zac graduated from Morningside College with a degree in Business Administration. He’s also a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Sales Success program.

2004
California Ag Solutions to Ag Solutions Network
While Monte Bottens, CEO of Ag Solutions Network, was living in the San Joaquin Valley of California, he witnessed the struggles growers faced with water supply and quality, challenging soils, and the common practices of intense tillage. Inspired to help California farmers adopt minimum tillage techniques and bring a focus on soil health to the forefront, Monte developed a systems-based approach for farmer operations with a focus on plant nutrition, water-use efficiency, and improving the soil.
2011
POWER2GRO Crop Production System
Ag Solutions Network and the Power2Gro System was born from a need for advanced, effective products and a desire to help customers. Over the course of a few years, Monte Bottens, CEO of Ag Solutions Network, partnered with some of the nation's leading scientists to develop a full product suite addressing the macro, micro, and biological plant nutrient needs that would soon become the Power2Gro Crop Production System.
Driving Forward
Well-rounded from the very beginning, the Power2Gro Crop Production System continues to expand. Additions to the original products include blending options of IGNITION PRO and IGNITION PLUS to build up phosphorus mobility and enhance phosphorus availability. TUNE UP B joined the P2G ranks and provides 10% Boron where needed. FAST TRACK formulation began as 0-0-23 and has transitioned to 0-0-29.
2013
ASN Headquarters established in Moline, IL
ASN headquarters opened in Moline, Illinois and started expanding its dealer and member network.
2019
AgEmerge
As part of ASN’s growing mission to make a greater impact in soil health education, AgEmerge was created. AgEmerge provides a platform for sharing emerging ideas and building connections with leaders in the industry, and provokes conversation to improve soil, crops, livestock and livelihoods.
AgEmerge Podcast was launched in February 2019. Host Monte Bottens talk with guests from diverse backgrounds to discuss experiences, practices and scalable applications for improving soil health.
2024
Headquarters Moves to Aledo, IL
Closer to the farm, the new office space has a professional recording studio. Stop on by for a farm tour or podcast! ASN continues to expand its dealer network and utilizes the latest technological advancements and highest-quality ingredients enabling farmers to build soil health and soil wealth.
